수천 번의 붓질과 표면 구축을 통해 화면은 서서히 스스로의 형태를 찾아간다. 물감의 두께와 겹겹이 쌓인 질감의 흔적 속에서, 작가는 물질이 감추고 있던 고유한 의미를 끌어올린다. 엄격하게 통제된 시스템적 과정 위에 예측 불가능한 신체의 직관을 얹으며, 재료와 몸의 리듬이 비로소 하나로 만난다. 시스템을 구축하는 규칙과 그 위를 덮어씌우는 노동이 완성하는 긴장감 넘치는 변주이다. 서로 다른 차원의 붓질들이 겹쳐지지만, 결국 화면 안에서 하나의 팽팽한 균형과 리듬으로 수렴하는 것이다.

Through thousands of brushstrokes and the meticulous construction of the surface, the canvas gradually discovers its own form. Within the density of the paint and the multi-layered traces of texture, the artist coaxes out the inherent meaning concealed within the matter. By superimposing the unpredictable intuition of the body onto a rigorously controlled, systematic process, the rhythms of the medium and the physical body finally converge into one. It is a tense variation completed by the rules that build the system and the sheer labor that overwrites it. Though brushstrokes of completely different dimensions overlap, they ultimately converge into a single, taut balance and rhythm within the space of the canvas.
