The concept of "breathing" really struck me deeply. There are many aspects to breathing. When you deeply analyze what may seem like a simple act, you realize that there are multiple reaction cycles in it. We go through this cycle of filling and emptying without even realizing it throughout our lives. Consequently, the variety of breath is quite diverse. Depending on the speed or depth, it can reveal a person's state. Breathing is, in a way, the most transparent form that is revealed. Yet, it is also opaque in the sense that it is necessary for sustaining life. Looking at this ambiguous boundary, I couldn't help but think that breathing couldn't be so translucent.
Because breathing is such a natural thing, many people forget about their existence. Even I, unless I intentionally think about the act of breathing, take it for granted. Therefore, through this work, I wanted to show the beauty in not taking the obvious for granted. I hoped to reinterpret this beauty visually and audibly so that the beauty of this naturalness would shine through
