Jueon Park (b. 2002, Seoul, South Korea) is a painter and emerging artist based in Chicago. Currently pursuing a BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (expected 2025). His work explores iteration and permutation, process-driven practices, reflecting his interest in how systems of order and experimentation can generate unexpected conversation. By embracing continuous process, his practice challenges traditional notions of completion and invites dialogue between the work, the artist, and the viewer.
Park’s art has been featured in group exhibitions such as the SAIC Fall Undergraduate Exhibition (2024) and We Are Our Own Healers. We Are Our Own Medicine (2024). His work and perspectives have been featured in SAIC’s digital catalog and in an interview on SAIC’s official Social Media. He has also been recognized on the Dean’s List of Outstanding Sophomores (2023).
